In 2007, Fineline began examining its own recycling, reusing, and sustainability practices and policies. Coincidentally at that same time, the Sustainable Green Printing group was being formed and launched in Indianapolis, IN. Just over one short year later, Fineline has become the first commercial lithographic printer in Indiana to receive the prestigious certification.
That's not all though. Fineline was actually an instrumental part of shaping the SGP program. Fineline was a beta site for the program and provided the SGP with feedback and updates on their green policies and their overall effect on the process and the product quality. After many revisions of the policies and application process, the SGP has finally opened it's certification to the public so that others may learn how to become sustainable without sacrificing cost or product quality.
